10 London Venues We’d Recommend Right Now – August 2026
London has no shortage of event venues, but having hundreds of options doesn’t necessarily make finding the right one any easier.
At Best Venues London, we’re constantly looking at what’s new, what’s changed and, most importantly, which venues we would actually recommend to our clients.
Our August 2026 selection includes everything from spectacular spaces high above the City to creative railway arches, purpose-built conference venues and some of London’s most impressive new event destinations.
Here are 10 London venues we’d recommend taking a closer look at right now.
1. Horizon 22, City of London
If you’re looking for a venue with genuine impact, Horizon 22 is difficult to beat.
Located on Level 58 of 22 Bishopsgate, 254 metres above the City, this spectacular event space provides panoramic views across London alongside a large, contemporary and highly flexible interior.
The venue can accommodate up to 500 guests for a standing reception or 280 seated, and benefits from an impressive 4K LED screen and L-Acoustics sound system. It’s particularly well suited to awards dinners, corporate receptions, client entertaining and high-profile celebrations.
We’d recommend it for: Awards, receptions, private dining and corporate events where the setting needs to make an immediate impression.
Why we like it: The view does much of the work for you. It’s one of those venues guests are likely to remember long after the event.
2. Fulham Pier, Fulham
Fulham Pier has brought something genuinely different to the London events market.
The riverside development beside Fulham Football Club combines hospitality, food, entertainment and event spaces in one destination. Its location directly on the Thames gives it a very different atmosphere from a conventional hotel or conference venue.
There’s plenty of flexibility here, making it particularly interesting for companies looking to combine a business event with food, entertainment or a more relaxed social element.
We’d recommend it for: Company celebrations, away days, summer events, dinners and corporate hospitality.
Why we like it: It’s much more than simply an event room – there’s an opportunity to create a complete experience for guests.
3. 26 Leake Street, Waterloo
For brands and companies wanting something less conventional, 26 Leake St is one to know.
Hidden beneath Waterloo Station within the famous Leake Street graffiti tunnel, the venue occupies a series of atmospheric railway arches. Exposed brickwork and an industrial backdrop give organisers an excellent blank canvas for creative production.
With capacity reaching approximately 1,150 guests, it can accommodate surprisingly substantial events.
We’d recommend it for: Product launches, brand activations, exhibitions, immersive events, parties and creative conferences.
Why we like it: It has genuine personality. You don’t need to disguise a conventional event room to make the event feel different – the character is already there.
4. The Pelligon, Canary Wharf
The Pelligon is one of Canary Wharf’s most distinctive large event spaces.
The soaring glass structure floods the venue with natural light and provides a dramatic architectural backdrop without dictating how the space needs to be used.
It’s particularly useful for organisers who want a large, contemporary venue that can be transformed through production, staging and branding.
We’d recommend it for: Conferences, awards ceremonies, gala dinners, product launches and large corporate celebrations.
Why we like it: The combination of scale, natural light and flexibility makes it suitable for events that need to look completely different from one booking to the next.
5. Convene Sancroft, St Paul’s
For conferences where the priority is getting the practical details right, Convene Sancroft, St. Paul’s is a strong option.
Located close to St Paul’s Cathedral, this purpose-built meeting and conference venue offers modern spaces, professional technology and a very central City location.
Unlike venues where conferences are fitted around another primary use, the spaces here have been designed specifically around meetings and events.
We’d recommend it for: Conferences, company meetings, training, presentations and corporate events.
Why we like it: Sometimes you don’t need quirky. You need a venue where registration, presentations, catering, breakout sessions and delegate movement all work properly.
6. One Birdcage Walk, Westminster
Overlooking St James’s Park, One Birdcage Walk combines a prestigious Westminster address with considerably more character than the average meeting venue.
Its collection of spaces includes the Lecture Theatre, Library, Marble Hall & Gallery and smaller meeting rooms, allowing different parts of an event to take place within the same building.
It’s particularly good for organisers who want a professional venue but don’t want their event to feel overly corporate.
We’d recommend it for: Conferences, seminars, training, private dining, receptions and meetings.
Why we like it: The combination of historic interiors, modern event facilities and the St James’s Park location gives it broad appeal.
7. The Peninsula London, Belgravia
For events where luxury and service are central to the brief, The Peninsula London deserves consideration.
Situated at Hyde Park Corner, the hotel offers an exceptional location together with sophisticated interiors, accommodation, restaurants and dedicated event spaces.
This isn’t going to suit every budget, but for senior-level corporate entertaining or events where the guest experience needs to be exceptional, it’s a very strong contender.
We’d recommend it for: Executive events, luxury private dining, client entertaining, board meetings and high-end corporate celebrations.
Why we like it: Some briefs are less about maximum capacity and more about delivering an impeccable experience. This is where The Peninsula comes into its own.
8. The BoTree, Marylebone
The BoTree London, Curio Collection by Hilton provides another option for companies looking for a contemporary luxury hotel rather than one of London’s more traditional five-star properties.
Its Marylebone location is particularly useful, sitting between the West End, Mayfair and Marylebone, and the hotel combines accommodation, dining and event facilities under one roof.
We’d recommend it for: Meetings, private dining, corporate dinners, smaller conferences and executive events.
Why we like it: It feels modern and polished without being overly formal – something we’re increasingly asked for by corporate clients.
9. 60 Great Queen Street, Covent Garden
60 Great Queen St is a venue worth knowing about if you’re looking for grandeur in central London.
The landmark building offers impressive historic architecture and substantial event spaces in an exceptionally convenient Covent Garden location.
It’s the sort of venue that works particularly well when arrival experience matters, whether that’s for an awards ceremony, gala dinner or major company event.
We’d recommend it for: Awards ceremonies, dinners, conferences, receptions and prestigious corporate events.
Why we like it: London has plenty of modern event spaces. Sometimes a client wants somewhere that unmistakably feels like London, and this certainly does.
10. Olympia London, Kensington
The transformation of Olympia London makes this one of the most interesting London event destinations to watch in 2026.
The £1.3 billion redevelopment is turning the historic exhibition complex into a much broader entertainment, hospitality and events district. New additions opening during 2026 include hotels, restaurants, bars and the British Airways ARC live entertainment venue, while the existing exhibition halls continue to provide enormous capacity for major events.
Pillar Hall is another particularly interesting addition. The restored Grade II* listed building combines dining and hospitality with a new 500+ capacity event and live music space.
We’d recommend Olympia for: Large conferences, exhibitions, product launches, corporate entertainment and events where you want multiple hospitality options close together.
Why we like it: Olympia is becoming a destination rather than simply somewhere you go for an exhibition. For event planners, that opens up some interesting possibilities for conferences and multi-part events.
Which London venue is right for your event?
The venues we’d recommend for a 50-person leadership meeting are very different from those we’d suggest for a 500-person conference, product launch or awards dinner.
That’s why we don’t believe finding a venue should simply mean scrolling through endless lists.
Tell us your date, guest numbers, preferred location, budget and what you want the event to achieve, and we’ll identify the London venues that genuinely fit your brief.
With extensive knowledge of London’s event venues, we can check availability, compare suitable options and negotiate rates on your behalf.
