The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is a vibrant, hospitable and versatile venue available for hire in London.  Built as a centre of the Indian community and a place to let the arts and culture of this country’s bright and energetic people thrive in the city, The Bhavan how now established itself as a vital facility that brings education and the chance to perform to all who come through its doors.  Boasting excellent facilities and spacious function rooms, plus a large auditorium, this is the ideal venue for rehearsals, performances, lectures, workshops and presentations.

The Mountbatten Auditorium was formed out of the old church that once stood on this site, and offers tired seating for 294, excellent acoustics and has built-in audio and lighting facilities, as well as two spacious changing rooms.

There’s also a fantastic exhibition space here – The MP BIRLA Millennium Art Gallery.  This well ventilated, light, beautifully finished and stylish room offers 140m sq. m. of floor space, and benefits from large windows leading onto a private decked terrace.  Highly affordable, you can hire this space for an entire weekday for just £100, and £750 for 7 days, 11am to 7pm.

The colourful, painted and purpose-built Hathi Hall is a wonderful rehearsal and small performance studio that seats seating 100 people and The Bhavan also offers two state of the art dance studios.  There are also classrooms available for training sessions and workshops, and a comprehensive library.

A large, commercial standard canteen is available to hire for exhibitions and events Monday to Friday, but the facility is open to the public on weekends.
