Churchill War Rooms

The Churchill War Rooms is a historic underground venue and museum in London, preserved exactly as it was during World War II.

It consist of a network of underground rooms and corridors built beneath government buildings to protect leaders during bombing raids.

They remained operational from 1939 to 1945, and many rooms are preserved exactly as they were when the war ended.

It was the secret British government command bunker used during World War II, where Prime Minister Winston Churchill and his military leaders planned Britain’s war strategy.

Today it is operated by the Imperial War Museums and can also be used for exclusive private events and corporate venues.
