Jewel St. Pauls is a spectacular cocktail bar and party venue sitting just at the foot of St. Paul’s Cathedral. The most basic package is The Sparkling Package, which costs just £50 and includes all of the above.
For £100, you could choose The Vintage Package and add a chilled bottle of Pommery Brut Royal Champagne to be served with your cake, table fireworks and mini cocktails, with a choice between a wonderfully presented side of fresh fruit, or an enormous sharer cocktail. You’ll also receive two large sharing platters of fresh, creative and eclectic finger food.
The Prestige Package will set you back £200, and sees all the aforementioned treats as well as a professional mixologist who will give you an entertaining masterclass while he brews up your mini cocktails, a large bottle of your favourite spirit and the mixers of your choice, and a waitor to serve your champagne at your table.
This versatile and party-orientated venue is also happy to charge you corkage if you’d like to crack open a particularly special bottle of something, and there’s enough on the menu to accommodate buffets, finger foods, canapés and sit down meals. Bits and pieces have been taken from all around the globe here, and you can find everything from a vegetable korma to sirloin steak, luxury cheeseboards to pallet-cleansing sorbets.
The three spaces available are magical, thrilling and exquisite. Especially suited to more feminine tastes and particularly apt for hen parties and such like, The Shoe Lounge is just off the main Jewel Bar, and features an entire wall of quirky, rare and retro heels, platforms and wedges. The Dressing Room is a round, space-age space with a display of elegant, simple dresses on mannequins highlighted by colourful, romantic lighting. The Suit Room is a little more ‘macho’, and boasts sumptuous armchairs complete with footrests, dark moody lighting on wooden panelled walls, and a sudden urge to rock a monacle and button up your waistcoat.
