Situated in Shoreditch within strolling distance of Old Street station, and listed recently as one of top 10 steakhouses in London by Steak Society, The Jones Family Project is an independently owned modern steak restaurant and cocktail bar.
Sourcing their meat from Britain’s best farmers and butchers including The Ginger Pig, they are open from 11am until midnight Monday to Saturday and for traditional British lunch on Sundays. Their main focus is meat but there are always two vegetarian dishes on the a la carte menu (and the nut roast was highly commended in Conde Nast Traveller). As all dishes are prepared in house by their experienced chef team, they are able to adapt many of their dishes to meet the requests of diners with food intolerances and allergies.
Their extensive and good value 100 strong wine list has more than 30 choices by the glass and their cocktail list features in-house aged ingredients.
In both their restaurant and bar they have several seating options available. In their restaurant they range from tables near the kitchen where you can see the chefs at work to more secluded booths. In their bar they also have cosy booths as well as sofas and a table with a tree sprouting through which is fun for larger groups.
In addition to fantastic steaks some of the house specialities include Pork Rib Eye, Truffled Macaroni Cheese and Anna’s Triple Chocolate Brownie.
