Situated in the leafy and traditional Tavistock Square, BMA House is a simply stunning London wedding venue. It has undergone many developments and refurbishments since its grand opening in 1925, and has kept up with the times beautifully, whilst still maintaining its character. The most recent change was completed in 2008, and there is a lovely combination of old meeting new throughout the entire venue.
It is indeed a grand setting for both corporate and private functions, and offers an enormous range of rooms to hire for private dining, conferences, meetings, cocktail parties, summer barbecues, Christmas parties, and weddings. There is also a car park – which is extremely rare in this part of the city!
The five main event spaces are set within the heart of this Grade II listed building, and offer stunning surroundings with painted gold leaf, magnificent glass chandeliers, high ceilings and imposing mahogany columns. Furthermore, BMA House has a grand courtyard, featuring a beautiful pond with statues and fountains on and around it, which provides a beautiful private space to hold a summer barbecue for up to 320 people. There is also a smaller, more intimate garden, ideal for entertaining 90 people, which has lush vegetation and again, a huge pond! These large and spacious outdoor spaces are, again, very rare in such an accessible and central part of the city – and the prices and packages on offer here are very reasonable indeed considering the convenience and environment at this venue.
We know that catering is an all-important factor in your event, and the on-site team of creative chefs can offer you a range of menus – from canapés to barbecues, bowl food to fine dining. An extensive wine list will compliment your menu choices, and the venue can organise florists, entertainers and even theming companies on your behalf.
The extensive redevelopment of BMA House has created beautiful contemporary spaces for events, yet many of the rooms still retain their original Grade II listed features. The venue can accommodate just about any number of people, and a site visit is highly recommended to help you make the choice of which space (or spaces) you will have your celebration in!
