Exclusive bar and restaurant in central London

Avenue Restaurant offers beautifully presented and carefully prepared food at affordable prices, right in the heart of London. This welcoming and homely restaurant has an elegant private dining room that is available to book for breakfast, lunch or dinner, for both business meetings and private celebrations. Seating between 10 and 20 guests, or up to 35 guests for a standing reception, this space has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the rest of the venue, but also offers fitted blinds if you’d prefer some privacy. For breakfast or lunch meetings, this space offers plenty of daylight, and once the sun goes down it transforms into a slick, vibrant and cosmopolitan space. There’s also a 46inch LED screen for presentations (or embarrassing childhood home videos, keep reading for the 18th birthday party package), and you’ll have your very own dedicated waiter plus the option to build a specially designed bespoke menu.

Alternatively for both private events or to just drop in for a bite, you’re welcome to try any one of the set menus available – which are incredibly good value for money. Breakfast starts at £20 per person, a two-course lunch will only set you back £25, and the Pre-Post Theatre menu (available from 5.45pm to 7, then 9.30pm to 10.30) will buy you three generous courses at an astounding £20 per head. From 7pm until 9.30, the dinner menu here will give you three courses of luxurious pub grub at just £39.

There are also several novelty menus, including the Game Tasting menu at £45 for four courses of mouth watering organic meat, and the 18th Birthday Celebration menu, which can have you guzzling unlimited Prosecco and enjoying three courses for a mere £33 each.

The bar at Avenue is an equally pleasurable place for a casual drink with colleagues or friends, and offers brilliant people-watching opportunities with the windows looking out on to St James’s Street. With an eclectic and intriguing wine and champagne list, and a tempting bar menu of both guilty snacks and healthy bites, this stylish and inexpensive venue is a failsafe option for an evening of informal enjoyment, or as a great place to grab a quiet meal and a drink before making the 5-minute journey towards the lights, buzz and excitement of Piccadilly, Pall Mall and Trafalgar Square.

Best Venues London think of The Avenue as the perfect solution to finding reliable, honest and delicious food on a budget in Central London. Give us a call now to book either a table in the restaurant, or an event in the private dining room at this quirky and accommodating venue!
