With summer around the corner and lockdown hopefully a distant memory, where better to head than an outdoor venue where you can sip on a few well cooled drinks with your friends? It sounds brilliant, but where do you go?

Hidden around London are some absolute gems of venues with courtyards, roof terraces and gardens ideal for that special office summer party. Here are some of our favourites to get you started.

The Treehouse Hotel

This is a new hotel in Langham Place, W1. The Nest Bar is a fabulous rooftop bar with east and west terraces, giving 360 degree views over London.

Shoreditch Gardens

Back for it’s 4th year for the months of July, August and September. The extensive lawns and marquee give ample space for social distancing if necessary.

The Rooftop at the Trafalgar Hotel

Fabulous views overlooking Trafalgar Square. Available for private hire with a wet weather option too. If you want to go for a drink, you will need to book as it is very popular! The Room is a new private dining room adjoining the Rooftop with space for 14 people for a private dining experience.

Upper 5th

Situated at the Courthouse Shoreditch, Upper 5th is a large roof terrace with a capacity of 200+. Perfect for drinks or parties on a long hot summer night

Stationers Hall

Here we have a beautiful city garden shaded by a huge plane tree, ideal for evening entertaining. Suitable for corporate receptions and parties.

No.11 Cavendish Square

This venue has a tranquil courtyard garden adjoining the Orangery and is available for private hire for parties and events. It has a stunning living wall that burst with colour all summer long.

The Deck

For something different, The Deck serves up some of the coolest views in town. This venue is most suited to corporate events and conferences. Capacity 120 for conference, 200 reception style.

The Rotunda Bar at Kings Place

The bar and restaurant hugs the waterfront at Battlebridge basin and is the perfect spot to relax. Parties and private dining are available here.

The Johnson Roof Terrace

This terrace has to have one of the best views in London! Sitting at the top of IET Savoy Place with stunning river views, Johnson Roof Terrace is available for hire for corporate and private events 7 days a week.

Blue Fin Venue

This unique venue is only available for hire from 5pm onwards during the week but again has some stunning views, Available for corporate events and private celebrations.
